چکیده
Abstract In the construction sector, non-renewable world resource of sand is largely used to produce mortar and concrete. It has been estimated that over 10 billion tons have produced, with 1.2 in concrete last decade, which leads a progressive reduction available materials environmental impacts. Since desert resources are abundant arid region Adrar (Southern Algeria), it would be viable use desert-sand as an alternative material for production self-compacting Therefore, experiencing significant demand since offers socio-technical economic solutions stakeholders public works industry. Furthermore, present study aims address concerns these stakeholders. The results obtained showed was made local materials, behave correctly, both fresh hardened states. This included 1% super plasticizer dosage, gravel-to-sand (G/S) ratio varying between 0.8 1.1, additions limestone fillers up 50% relative mass cement dune sand, while this percentage could go 38% corrected (63% crushed 37% sand).

Properties of Self-compacting Concrete – an Overview
Self-compacting concrete can be defined as the concrete which requires no vibrations and can flow around obstructions, encloses the reinforcement and fills up the formwork completely under its self weight. Over the last ten years, significant amount of work has been carried out on self-compacting concrete all over the world. In countries like Japan, Sweden, Thailand, UK etc., the knowledge of S...
متن کاملThe Influence of Phase Change Materials on the Properties of Self-Compacting Concrete
The aim of this paper is to research new thermally-efficient concrete walls, analyzing the mechanical behavior of a self-compacting concrete to manufacture an uncoated solid structural panel, with the incorporation of a micro-encapsulated phase change material as additive. Different dosages are tested and mechanical properties of the product obtained from the molding of concrete specimens are e...
